OFF THE GRID FOR GOOGLE
Off the Grid approached me with a project to help design a food truck for Google HQ. They were going to be rolling out a series of themed food trucks that would live at Google's campus to provide free food to employees. I was assigned the New York Delhi truck — a fusion between Indian Cuisine and a New York Delhi. I've still yet to see the truck in person or eat the food, but I think the overall look of it turned out great!
The logo is inspired by New York and Indian architecture. The shape of the building is based loosely on the famous Chrysler Building but with rounded corners and sweeping lines reminiscent of Indian arched gates.
I explored multiple takes on this theme before finally settling on a final design.
For the wrap around on the truck I explored multiple color schemes and patterns inspired by Indian architecture, rugs, and tiles.
